Diploma in Physiotherapy (DPT) is a 2-Year professional paramedical course that is pursued by candidates who wish to treat patients with physical disabilities or injuries. The courses teach the candidates about the various rehabilitation techniques that the patients have to be treated so that they can return to their normal lifestyle. This course can be pursued after passing class 12th from the science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised board. The admission to the DPT course is done either on the basis of merit list or through entrance examination. The course curriculum also enables a student to develop scientific knowledge, problem-solving, technical and communication skills. The curriculum is divided into two years, each having 2 semesters.
